This website is built to share our love and passion for Japanese sport cars. Brands like Nissan, Honda, Toyota and many other Japanese brands are popular especially in the world of tuning.

For some, tuning is a fashion trend, yet for others it is a lifestyle.
For us... it's a passion.

TeamZeroSpeed Meets Type-R Club at RICA Engineering!!

The long awaited Dyno-day finally arrived. What better way to do this than doing this together with the Type-R Club. What a remarkable show up we had! Not to mention the number of cars scheduled to do a run...22!!, yes 22 cars!! And bless the weather we had, Sunny and Dry, eventhough the forecast was rain. I even managed to get a nice tan!

The morning started early with the first and only Subaru Coupe (AWD) on the Dyno (Overall good results, but we were expecting more). Then 2 x S2Ks (RWD) followed with some interesting surprises. Finally all the FWD went for their runs (ITR, CTR's, Predule, EJ9 and the OEM EM2). Also here we had gains and loses.

Besides the runs, it would be no TZS-style if there was no "stoeptuning" involved. On the side of the parking lot a 2 Type-R's were being modded with new intakes (although a small task, still fun to do!).

Overall a very interactive and educative day for those trying to gain more power, and for those trying to understand the graphics on the dyno-sheets. I am still a noob when it comes to reading those graphics.

Anyways, we had fun! we certainly know Type-R club and Rica had an enjoyable day! I say more love for JDM!!

TZS for life!

TZS making their debut on JAF!! After the TZS Spring meet many of us were looking forward to the Japanese Car Tuning Festival.
Why? It was the debut of TZS to be represented on an event, and what better opportunity to do it other than "JAF".

The day started really really early. We all pre-meet at Chop's place, just to do some pre-work on the rides, and to ensure all rides were clean for "display". After an almost 2 hr drive we finally made it to TT Assen. Funny enough nobody was tired, eventhough a few of the crew members slept less than 3hrs.

Our stand number was R008. For those that now abit about the asian culture, the number 8 stands for "wealth". So in our view this could not have been a better spot for a debut! Upon arrival, we noticed the pre-assigned spot was a little bit "tiny" to say the least to line up our cars for proper display. Nevertheless, that could not spoil our mood.

As we approached the afternoon, the rain started to play a dramatic role! Big grey clouds covered the sky, pouring rain on the nicely cleaned cars. Some of us spent over 3hrs just to clean their rides, right Mike? Big bummer! But unavoidable! Guess the weather forecast was right this time.
Anyways, we wrapped up the day for what it was as the rain just kept coming. Despite the bad weather, we certainly were proud to make our debut on JAF.

We surely hope you enjoyed our rides and thank you for dropping by and said "hi" We look forward to meeting you again, on one of the TZS meets, otherwise on the Forum or any upcoming events!

Finally! The first official TZS CLub Meet in 2008 took place!

The 21st of March was the date that a lot of us were really looking forward to after a cold and long winter period! Although we had the typical Dutch spring weather, read "cold and rainy", many of us still showed up along with their nice clean looking JDM rides.

We had a good number of approx 30 nice rides, from various make with fully equipped custom made mods. From the nice "one of a kind" LHD WRX STI Prodrive Type R, to the fully custom built Skyline R33. Not to forget the very nice and clean Turbo-charged S2K.

For sure there were many other interesting project cars present that dressed up the parking lot in front of the CMC Autoparts Garage.

TZS wants to thank those "hardcore" JDM lovers for showing up and join us on this rainy, yet very "entertaining and enjoyble" evening. We all look forward to seeing you again at another TZS meet! Don't forget to say "hi" when you drop by at the JAF TZS stand!

TeamZeroSpeed TOP meet

After an "unorganized" trip to Dusseldorf the first time with just 2 TZS rides, another TZS trip to Germany was planned. It took some time to organize this second trip as the weekends are short and not all TZS members were available. Yet finally we managed to realize this second trip!
2 missions were defined for this trip!

1. TOP speeds testing of the rides!
2. Eating Good Japanese or Korean food!

5 TZS rides were tested out to put some dutch rubber on the German highways. MugT's Scooby, FallenOne's Celica, Jordan's VTI, Keungs EM2, Key's EP3 and the new ride of Mike.. a Yellow S2000.

The Day trip started off with nice dry weather, which was covered by some clouds and a shatter of rain later in the afternoon. This did not spoil the TZS's fun though! The entire trip to Dusseldorf went pretty fast and safe, until the last part (entering Dusseldorf) where MugT's scooby suddenly smoke was produced underneath the hood. Problem appeared to be a minor leakage in one the hoses of the engine coolin system. Thank goodness we had "Keung" (MugT's life saviour) with us, our Honda Specialist and within a few minutes he fixed the problem so we could continue our trip.

After some shopping and a quick few drinks at Starbucks we went to complete our mission: EATING in Dusseldorf. With the great selection of authentic Japanese and Korean restaurants available, we finally arrived at a Japanese noodle specialist named "TAKUMI". As we were sitting outside along the sidewalks enjoying the food and atmosphere, it was already getting late and dark = Time to go back home! Some great "pedal to the metal" moments, as were trying to get back home asap.

Conclusion: We did not accomplish mission 1, as we had some roug roads to deal with and unfortunately too much traffic! But we did accomplish mission 2 succesfully! Most relevant is that we had a wonderfull and safe trip. Definately there will be another trip arranged someday soon again!

Check out the pictures at the "Meets" section.

TeamZeroSpeed brings you to Hong Kong, China!! Hong Kong
Yes!! Some of our TZS members managed to spent their well-deserved holidays after a neck-breaking period of work in Hong Kong! A Little bit about the HK tuning scene... With Japan around the corner, it is no surprise that HK has the latest goodies available. A-brands available on stock!!! No kidding!! Mugen, Spoon, Tom's, Volk Racing, Work, Advan, Ralli-Art... you name it, they've got it!!! There is a famous street (actually a few) in HK where all the biggest tuning shops are represented. They actually install the goodies while you parked your ride in front of the shop!! Talking about service... It would be no surprise most of us visiting HK would dare to come back home "empty-handed"... Not to mention the number of tuned cars you see in HK...my goodness. If you are a JDM fan, this is the place to be. No doubt within every 5 min you will see a nice tuned 200+bhp ride passing by...this must be JDM-heaven!! Besides playing the "tourist role" visiting the various famous HK attractions, we managed to attend one of the local Tuning Events as well arranged by a local Tuners Magazine "Option" (for the JDM fan this magazine is a must!!). The Event was scheduled for the 7th and 8th of April 2007 and yes, we made some nice pics of this event as well... Great representation of various JDM rides...not to mention about the ladies...the pics speak for themselves! Enjoy!!!
